K a y a, My goodness, the end is in sight, only two weeks left with our little 6R family. I am full of mixed emotions, sadness that they will be leaving but happiness and excitement for our excursion and graduation.  I would like to take this opportunity to send you all a massive thank you for your support this year. Thank you for your kind emails, patience and laughs over the year. Well done to the students on their mature attitude and effort at the Parish Busy Bee on Friday despite the heat. The students put in a mammoth effort and demonstrated the OLC school values throughout the very hot day. The church looked wonderful when we left.                                            As there a lot of reminders below I have not included much other information. Thanks guys for your patience and understanding over the last two weeks. We will have a very busy two weeks ahead with lots of practice and preparation for both the Christmas concert and the Graduation so lots of rest ahead for the

KAYA, I have just realised that we are now super close to the finish line and it's that time of year where no matter how hard I try to slow everything down it is just not going to happen! With reports on the go, seesaw tasks being prepared, graduation around the corner and our final excursion less than 3 weeks away, I feel that I am going to be constantly running...so apologies if I do miss something along the way (especially with preggo brain ATM too). Please let me know if I do, and I'll get on top of it straight away! ⭐⭐ STAR CITIZEN ⭐⭐ Well done to Madi who received our Star Citizen award this week for the value of 'Excellence'. She is an incredible role model who is continually striving to do and be at her best in all facets of school. Well done Madi! 🎂🎂 BIRTHDAYS 🎂🎂 Happy birthday to Mia for Monday 22nd November, we hope you have a great day.   K a y a, What an incredibly beautiful weekend...the weather was nothing to complain about. I hope that whatever you did has given you the chance to live, laugh, rest and recoup. We spent the weekend in Fremantle on a little getaway with wonderful friends, sampling the many delights of the areas! Can you believe that we are heading into week 6 already. I am so proud of the mature attitude that the students have started to show towards their learning specifically looking at the amount of tests they have had over the past few weeks. You should be very proud of their effort and input, no matter the grade they have all tried and worked their very best.  🏆 Did you know that Saturday was World Kindness Day? Engaging in acts of kindness produces endorphins, the brain's natural painkiller! Perpetually kind people have 23% less cortisol (the stress hormone) and age two times slower than the average population! So, we challenge you to make sure you get one act of random kindness every day

K a y a, Can you believe that we are heading into week 5 already, I cannot believe I have only half a term left to spend time with our beautiful 6R family. Hopefully the weekend has been restful and given your families a chance to recharge and reconnect ready for another great week.   There was lots happening last week at OLC. Including celebrating our first OLC Wellbeing Week, this included sound healing, yoga sessions, square breathing, mindfulness colouring and a bush walk. Last week also included some very funky dance moves with our OLC Silent Disco on Friday night. Thank you to the P&F for arranging such a fun night for the students. 💃💃💃 ⭐⭐ Merit Awards ⭐⭐ Well done to Mia and Taya for receiving our 6R Merit Awards for week 4 Term 4.  Mia has been a welcomed asset to OLC this year and has used every bit of GRIT and resilience to transition seamlessly into our 6R family. It is a pleasure having her apart of the class.  Taya received hers for her organisation efforts and th
