Week 4 Term 1

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had an opportunity to have fun at some point, among the sensible adult jobs that often get in our way. We had nonna and nonno pop in for a night, before returning to Perth. It's always nice to spend time with the family we don't to see often. Many great things happened last week, but a special congratulations goes to Annabelle on receiving our class merit award. The maturity and determination this young lady is showing is inspiring. I also wanted to make special mention of some incredibly compassionate acts happening in our class...a student came in today with a substantial donation that they had collected throughout the weekend busking. They have chosen to donate it to our bush fire fundraiser, assisting St Brendan's, a primary school in the eastern states that has been considerably affected by the bush fires. Good morning all, I hope your weekend was just as good as it was in the Ricciardone household. We decided to surprise my footy obsessed Xavier with a quick trip to Optus stadium to watch the AFLW derby. It was such a special moment to see both our boys go from disbelief to sheer delight when we told them. I want to congratulate our Communications ministry (Meelup faction) on setting up and running an excellent assembly on Friday. A special mention goes to Kobe and Ruby, our brave presenters, you both looked like seasoned professionals! There a couple of events going on this week that will change our routine slightly but still plenty of work to be done... Important Reminders - Week 3 PAT Testing This week we will begin our series of formal PAT assessments which will help further inform our under standing of

Good evening parents, Welcome back to another week! What a great week it was...so many great things achieved already. A large part of our week last week was setting routines and clear expectations, as well as outlining our new responsibilities as leaders. I was most impressed with how your children have already taken on these roles with great maturity and enthusiasm. Last week was one of the most enjoyable first week's back at school. I can't remember the last time I had 90% of the class thank me for their week and wish me well for the weekend as they walked out the door on Friday. You are raising such well-mannered and respectful little humans. I was happy to see that I didn't scare them off, as they all had beaming smiles on their faces this morning upon their return! I want to take this opportunity to congratulate our new Sports Captains for 2020, I know they will honor and wear their badge with great pride. Important Reminders - Week 2 Leaver's Shir
