The year 6 students would like to invite you to a night at the movies! 

We would like to invite you and your child to come and watch the 2040 movie documentary at Our Lady of the Cape in the hall, after school on Wednesday 22nd September at 4pm. 

In a world full of negativity about the current climate situation, add some inspiration and hope to both you and your child's mind. Where you find hope, you find change. The documentary is only 90 minutes long and there will be some small speeches by the students before and after the documentary.

There will be a small gold coin donation to enter - $2 per person, all of this proceeds will be donated to the Numbat Association. 

There will be refreshments available for purchase in the form of popcorn and juice.

Good morning, We hope you are enjoying the beautiful start to the holidays. Whilst our end to the term was quite intense, we hope that the weeks of home schooling weren't too stressful on you all. I was so proud at how quickly the students adapted to the new situation and then produced incredible pieces of work.  I am currently working through all the marking: Narratives, Basil Presentations and Maths tests but from what I've seen so far there are some very pleasing results. All Maths tests completed and uploaded have been marked and your child's results can be found where they saved their test in OneNote. The results for the other two tasks will be saved in OneNote under 'Assessment Results' in the coming week for your child to view. Today you will receive an email with your child's Interim Report attached. Keep an eye out for this! Good Evening All, It is with great sadness I say that this will be my final blog post for the year. I can not describe how incredibly proud of students and the leaders this group has become. They have worked hard, played hard and lead hard...what more could I have asked for! Thank you for the amazing support and care you have shown me throughout the year. The constant check-ins, the quick response to my endless requests and willingness to help in anyway has been both noted and appreciated throughout the year. Many thanks to our parent reps for making my job easy and communicating anything that needed to be done, I am so grateful. Whilst I don't think I deserve it, I am touched to have received a very generous voucher to Blue Manna from the class and a number of thoughtful gifts from other families. As the weather begins to get colder, we are reaching the end of Djeran and moving towards the wintery season of Makuru.  Good news...you’ll be starting to see less of the different types of snails ( probably eating your veggies in your garden!😂 ) and Shelducks paddling in lakes and pools of water...
