Week 3 Term 3 Reminders
Kaya,
Welcome to the season of Djilba, the season of conception. This is when the days start to move from cold to cool and less wet weather, fingers crossed we start to see some sun again. I hope you've had a great day!
Proud Teacher Moment...
Words can not express how proud we were of all the students yesterday at the Confirmation Mass. Whilst I know it was early and went for longer than expected, you all showed incredible spirit and support for one another by being present. I can not believe how many comments and remarks I have had celebrating the maturity, reverence and commitment the children made to this sacrament. Every part was performed perfectly, I hope it is something they cherish for years to come. So many students commented on how impressed their parents were with their artwork and biographies, what a delight to hear them talk about it being all worth it.
AUGUST BIRTHDAYS:
Imogen King - 21st August
Tara Tutt- 28th August
WEEK 3 REMINDERS
HUMAN DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
On Friday 6th August the students will participate in Human Development talks that will be presented by The Centre for Life, Marriage and Family. They will cover an introductory program on growth and development with the Year 6 students via zoom.
A permission slip went home today that must be completed and returned for your child to participate. Please ensure this is returned by Thursday, otherwise we will assume your child is not participating and will be sent to another classroom.
SEESAW APP
The students have taken home a letter last week with your unique login for the Seesaw App. This unique login is for the parents. Students are not to use this login for their students as theirs is a separate class login that they will connect with from school. You can use this access on multiple platforms and both parents can sign in using different devices. This platform will be used to showcase you the students hard work over the upcoming semester in place of writing English and Numeracy comments in the final reports, in order to make the learning and progress of your student more visible to you on a regular basis. If you have any further questions regarding this please refer back to the email sent earlier in the term by admin.
1. Reading x 20 minutes every night - students to write up the pages that they read that night and the parent to sign every night.
3. Mathematics - Two Mathletics tasks to be completed as well as a worksheet that will revise a topic from the previous term.
4. Three well-being tasks from learning grid.
