Week 7 Term 4 - Musical Week!

 Good morning all,

As we reach the end, I think it may be easier to focus on one week at a time and the events of that week. It has been a long weekend of report writing and I'm almost there! I did take some time out to catch up with my mum for her birthday in Bunbury and be entertained by these two monkeys!

I hope you had time to relax and enjoy the weekend and celebrate with me the joys of not having to pack a lunchbox this morning with the little cherubs having an extra day off to rest!

MUSICAL!!!

A lot of information has been sent out about the Musical Performance and Matinee, so I am going to scale it back and keep it brief:

MATINEE: Tuesday 24th November @ 2pm in the hall. Thank you to those who have been able to offer their services for makeup starting at 10am and to the stage dressers who will work their magic Tuesday morning. xxx

FRIDAY NIGHT PERFORMANCE: Friday 27th November @ 7pm in the hall. A text will be sent out later in the week to state the timings for the makeup application Friday afternoon. Please remember to bring a share plate for supper afterwards. Tables will be placed in the undercover area for you to put your share plate on.

REQUESTS...Can the hyena's please wear brown or black socks with their onsies and we are looking for person to video the Friday night performance. The equipment will be provided, we just need you to have a steady hand to point and shoot. Please let myself or Mrs Horrocks know if you can help.

Please contact myself or Mrs Horrocks if you have any further questions.

Thank you so much for your support with this event, we are very excited to show you what we have been working on. They are such a talented bunch, that no matter what little personality they have, they all have grown in confidence and smashed their individual parts!!

REMINDERS...

ST VINNIES DONATIONS: It's that time of the year again where we begin collecting Christmas goodies for members of our community less fortunate than ourselves. We in 6R have been asked to donate Christmas Goodies: chocolates, tinned fruit, non-perishable fruit juices, christmas bonbons, christmas pudding, etc. There is a box in the class, ready for our donations to arrive.

IMPORTANT...CHURCH REHEARSAL: On Monday 30th November (next week) we are asking that all students are dropped off to the church at 8.30am with their bags instead of being dropped at school. The reason for this is because we need to have Mrs Meyer and Mrs Sherbourne at the church at the same time and first thing on Monday morning is the only time we can do this, before Mrs Sherbourne needs to head back to school for her other lessons. The rest of us will be then walking back to school after our rehearsal. Please let me know if this will cause a problem and we can try and get helpers to assist.

GRADUATION PHOTOS: I am still waiting on 5 student's baby and toddler photos for the Graduation PowerPoint. It's not long to go now and would be devastating to not have your child's photos in the presentation. Please can you get them to me ASAP.

HOMEWORK: I have reduced homework for this week. I am asking that the students complete their Learning Grid activities, read their novel study books each night and complete the novel study activity sheet. NO SPELLING & MATHS😉

Have a great day everyone, I am so excited for the week ahead!
