Good Afternoon, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed this incredible weather. It was a quiet weekend in the Ricciardone household, which was perfect for some much needed R & R for the week ahead. The highlight of my weekend was sitting with friends yesterday morning at Commonage Coffee having a good old chat and laugh, while the kids played cricket until their hearts were content! It's the little things that fill my cup! I want to congratulate the wonderful Lexi Lepidi on receiving our merit award last week. She received her award for displaying incredible courage, compassion and leadership in her first couple of weeks here at OLC.  LEARNING UPDATES Last week, we began working incredibly hard on establishing good learning habits towards being responsible leaders.   Good afternoon, All I can say is...it's great to be back! Whilst I was very grateful for an extended holiday, being back in the class doing what I love with your beautiful children has put a smile on my face! Today we welcomed two new students to 6R, Mia Pyke and Lexi Lepidi. Such great additions to the class already and it was only fair to make them feel at home by playing a few 'Get to know you' games. One of them was to make a chatter box with questions that would encourage them to learn something new about their peers. See the pics below of us having a go: Paula and I feel very lucky to have this group of students again before they leave OLC. We  expect big things from them all, as we know they are incredible little humans and have such great potential as the leaders of the school.
